It's that time of year again! TOM Spring/Summer 2018 collections have been on full blast over the past few days and I caught the closing night runway presentations at the Toronto Star Building last night. With Shelli Oh, Ocean Rebel and Hendrixroe all showcasing their work it was a packed night for sure.
Retro is completely in again and I'm loving what's out there for men this season. Your dad's patterns, cuts and colours seem to be all coming back with a modern twist!
In keeping with this I found this wicked cream coloured wool (Felton) textured rollneck jumper at Reiss and paired it with a checked Burgundy pant from Zara. To complete the fall look I picked an oversized dark blue coat from H&M.
The night started out with Shelli Oh who kept the silhouettes of her collection clean and crisp with pieces that anyone would love to wear. I especially loved that cropped blue blazer, want it now!
Ocean Rebel took a very casual and easy going vibe to their whole look, the long pink trench was my favourite piece. I have to say that all their models were smoking hot!
Of course I took a moment to do a little strut on the runway myself in-between the show.
Talk about going off with a blast, Hendrixroe pushed menswear close to rockstar status while still managing to keep it classy and elegant. With their rich colours, patterns and textures the collection had me falling in love with every piece. I got to say that the standing ovation was very much deserved.
A great end to another amazing event, can't wait to see the FW18 collections next year!
