SMITH

Updated: May 29, 2018

I always had trouble picking a spot to eat when I am in and around the village, that is until I discovered Smith. Right off Church St, this cosy, beautifully decorated, french inspired restaurant serves mouth watering dishes.

Finding the right door to get in maybe confusing at first as it is tucked in between a couple of other stores in what used to be a set of old rowhouses. But, once you get in you are greeted by the casual yet chic atmosphere with just the right amount of rustic touch to it. From the fresh flowers to the simple table settings no detail is too small to help set the cosy feel to the place. At first glance the area may look small but don't be fooled as this multi-room restaurant has plenty of space and each room has its own unique look and feel.

Smith is certainly known for its tasty brunch menu, but having tried both the lunch and

dinner menus in my many visits I can say they hit the spot every time. While at first glance the menu may seem limited compered to other places the dishes they

do put out are always tasty and prepared with care.

This has become one of our goto spots when I am downtown and certainly a spot I would recommend for those tired of hitting up the same old chain stores when looking for a quick bite to eat.
